Where is Drunk Fox?

Last week the other stuffies and I agreed that we need to have an intervention for Drunk Fox and I drew the short straw of trying to find him and bring him back home for his intervention.
My first stop was at Starbucks.  Drunk Fox likes a good cup of coffee.
While waiting for Drunk Fox to show up I decided to treat myself with a nice hot chocolate
No Drunk Fox at Starbucks.  Next stop was a garden in the city (actually a garden at a local hospital). It's a wildlife habitat and it seems like a relaxing place for Drunk Fox to hang out.

It's beary pleasant at the garden but my mission is to find Drunk Fox so I'm off on my adventure.
Nope. No Drunk Fox at Ben and Jerry's (not to be confused with Jerry and Ben).  Should I stop in for an ice cream cone?
As I was leaving Ben and Jerry's I saw a place advertising a salmon bento.  They also have a prawn one.  Tempting, but this fox has a mission.
.
Drunk Fox apparently isn't a soccer fan.  He wasn't at Providence Park, home of the Portland Timbers.

Nope, not here either.
Well, we all know Drunk Fox has had some trouble with the bottle.  I better check this tap room.

No Drunk Fox here.

I thought I better check out another Starbucks (there sure are a lot of them in Portland).
No Drunk Fox but I must admit I like the new holiday fox mug.  I might need to get me one of these.

I wandered into the grocery store (for a healthy snack for me) and figured I better check out the beer section.  No Drunk Fox here, but there are lots of choices to drink.
This beer has a giraffe in space. I might need to try this one based on the packaging alone.
Umm, I better check a few more sections of the beer aisle.
Nope, no Drunk Fox here. Man he's an elusive fox isn't he?
The store actually had a bar in it.Prices were pretty cheap too.
I didn't see Drunk Fox in the grocery store bar but there were lots and lots of people in the grocery store bar.

Way far in the distance is Union Station.  It's the train station.  I best check to see if Drunk Fox is hanging out near the tracks.
Amtrak Cascades.  This train is heading up to Seattle in a few minutes. I talked to the conductor and he didn't see Drunk Fox in line to board the train.
Union Station has a viewing platform of sorts.
My research tells me that this train (the silver one) is headed south to California. It doesn't leave till night so I will have to come back to see if Drunk Fox is on it.
Only three passenger trains leave out of Portland so I  think I better continue on my journey to find Drunk Fox.

Another grocery store. New Seasons, they claim to be the Friendliest Store in Town.  I checked it out, they were pretty friendly and were offering free cake samples.  They win my vote.
All of this exploring is making me hungry.  I better get some lunch.

I decided to get a chicken cheesesteak sandwich with a side of enchilada soup.

It was a good choice.  Now that I have more energy I should check out one  last stop before heading home.

Nope. No Drunk Fox in here.

after an exhaustive search I found  Drunk Fox talking to his buddy Kermit. They were just hanging out, talking about showbiz, the best chicken restaurants in town, and what they were planning on doing this weekend.  Who would have guessed that if I looked on the couch I would have found Drunk Fox so easily.
I butted in and told Drunk Fox he needed an intervention.  He was confused and wanted to know why.  I grabbed his paw, led him to the circle of stuffies and the intervention begins................

What is going on with Drunk Fox? Post 2

Hello Everyone,
Little Fox here.  I have to say that Drunk Fox has been graffitiing everything around the house.

Here's some of his latest handiwork.

The mystery I am trying to figure out is WHY Drunk Fox is doing this?  I brought in my crack psychological team to help analyze this behavior from Drunk Fox.

According to Big Bear Drunk Fox is lashing out to get more of my time.

Odie wonders if Drunk Fox is bringing back some repressed memories.

Little Bear and his pals believe that Drunk Fox needs to have some sort of hobby that empowers him to express his creativity.

Reindeer Coyote thinks Drunk Fox has ADHD or something like that.

Wolfy and Fox believe that Drunk Fox is seeking negative attention as a form to get any attention.

The overall consensus is that we need to have an intervention and talk to Drunk Fox to see what is happening.....Now where is he?????

Arggg, will this ever end????

Little Fox in the Kitchen....AKA somethings up......

Hi Gang,
Little Fox here.  Today I am going to make cookies for all of my stuffy friends.  Let me just get the organized.

Cooking Spray is always needed.  I don't want the cookies to stick.  Huh, this is weird, it says "Drunk Fox is cool".   Yep, he is cool but why would he write it on cooking spray?   Strange......but whatever.
Eggs are always needed in good cookie recipe.
What, this one says "Property of Drunk Fox".
Strange...but this fox doesn't have time to over analyze this so lets make some cookies.

Okay, this is getting weird.  This says "Drunk Fox Rocks".

What is going on here?  Is Drunk Fox doing graffiti all over the house?  Is this his hobby?  Is there some deep psychological situation where Drunk Fox is searching for attention, acceptance, and the meaning of life by  scribbling graffiti on cooking supplies?

Drunk Fox is a complicated animal.  Of course he's not around to ask questions but I am concerned.  Best to relax with a nice cup of tea.

Ack.  This one says "Drunk Fox 2019".  The mystery continues.

Trash to treasures entry

My pal Wolfy and I were enjoying this cider and talking about our entry into the Trash to Treasures contest.  We know we have some stiff competition.  Bennie is very artistic and Droopy makes his own homemade cards.  Jerry, Ben and Sandy are no slouches in the creativity department either.
Wolfy and I dug around our closet and found this hummingbird feeder nozzle.   Then it hit us, we could make a hummingbird feeder.  All we need is wire, the nozzle and an empty bottle.  Piece of cake.
Full disclosure:  The first attempt at the hummingbird feeder did not work.  Goal: a hummingbird feeder.  Result: a broken bottle on the garage floor because the wire did not hold (but we got a clean garage floor out of the experiment).

I knew I needed helped.  Reindeer jumped in.  He has paws big enough for holding the hot glue gun.
Reindeer and I got the wire to stay around the bottle but it does not look nice.
Reindeer suggested trying a plastic bottle being that the wire might adhere to the plastic easier.  We found a bottle, got the glue gun going and made it work.
Reindeer and I were very apprehensive after two fails but we knew we had  to test it.
Us stuffies are not stupid.  We filled it with water, had the roommates hold it above the sink and we kept our paws crossed.  It works, it works!  I think Reindeer and I were very surprised.
Perhaps it's time for a celebration.  Let's enjoy this nice canned wine.  I'm sure it's delicious.

Little Fox, Archaeologist.

Hello Blog World.
Little Fox, Archaeologist here.  I am back in the Northwest doing more work for the museum.  Of course, I am still a student archaeologist so I am at the beck and call of the museum.  Speaking of working cheap, Sequoia decided to come alone for the hike today.
The museum needed documentation of a old train station.  I am in Mt. St. Helen's country and if you happened to be alive back in the stone ages Mt. St. Helen's erupted and caused some damage.   The train tracks are supposed to be decommissioned but not because of Mt. St. Helen's damage (as this archaeological student thought).
Might need to get a closer look.  This could be a clue.  Nope. just a trail marker
Onward.  Moulton Falls is along the route.  More of a rapid than a falls.
Looks like old train tracks.  I might be on the right track to the old station (no pun intended).
I crossed the river successfully.  On the other side there was a nice viewing platform of the falls.
Sequoia led me on the trail to Yacolt Falls.

I know I am close to the train station.  From my research I am looking for a railroad line built in the 1880s.  The line was used to transport logs and other natural resources from the area to lumber mills in Vancouver.  As with most railroads they lost money, changed ownership too many times to count, and was moderately operational until the mill was permanently closed.
.

Sequoia is really earning his keep today.  Looks like he found the station

Looks like I made it to the Moulton Falls station.
There is an abbreviated history of the railroad line.  Looks like the current owner is the Chelatchie Prairie RR.
Well.  This sign is not 100% complete.  Makes you wonder what else they have to say.  Perhaps this would be something I could pitch to the museum for further research????

I'm sorry Jerry

Jerry, I just saw the first sign of spring.  Hope you and Ben are staying warm this winter.
