Thanks Droopy

Today was such a beautiful day my roommates and I decided to take a walk.  Check out these tulips - I love Spring.  Jerry, are tulips blooming in your neck of the woods?
I was in charge of navigating my roommates walk so guess where we ended up at?
Yep, Starbucks.
I can see why they call this cup tall, it's almost as tall as me!

After our walk I lead my roommates back home.   There was a package from Droopy in the mail, it was the winnings from my pawesome entry into Droopy's K-9 comedy contest.

This knife ought to be a good letter opener for this package.
OK, let's see what we have here.  Oh, fox stickers, my favorite!  Yipee!
A fun noisemaker - yes Sequoia and I will have lots of fun with this.  Oh, I can't forget the award certificate from Droopy.  I will have to make a trip to the frame show to get my award certificate framed.
An adventure, a trip to starbucks, and gifts from Droopy.  What a day!
Thanks Droopy.

Bear's rejoice

Looks like a few of my bearista bear friends will have some new clothing options.  Saw these today at Starbucks.
These ones are straight off starbucks.com.  This bear below sure looks a lot like Sandy.
This one below sure looks a lot like Jerry.
Now where is the Ben look-a-like bear?

Spring ???

I woke up this morning hopeful for an adventure.  Nothing too exciting yet but it looks like Spring is officially here.  This is our almond tree blooming nicely.  I hope Spring comes soon for all of my blog pals.
Speaking of nice, thanks to Jerry and Ben for the awesome starbucks card.  I love the fox.  I tried to get my roommates to take me there today to load the card but they denied my constant requests.

Thanks Jerry and Ben

Spring???????????????

A nice “spring” day.   What?  Spring you say?  How can that be?  I am no fox-meteorologist but I know good weather when I see it and we are off to explore.

This flowering tree is doing well, I wonder if it’s a rhododendron? I like this old house near the tree as well.  Perhaps they give behind the scene tours?

Look what store is across the street.  Can we stop? Pleasssssssssseee……………?  I'll buy.........

This train was revving up and getting ready to depart.  It looks like it’s going north, I wonder if it’s going to Canada and if they will take me along to visit Sandy eh?  After visiting Sandy, maybe I can catch a train east to visit Jerry, Ben, and Ajdin.  I think Hammie is onto something when he mentioned the stuffy get-together….I am anxiously awaiting Jerry's response to that question.

Subliminal Message????????????????

I was catching up on my computer work today and I heard the doorbell ring.  I ran to the door to find that the letter carrier dropped off a parcel for me.

Could it be?  Yes!  My Holiday cards came in the mail.  I better do the return address first.
Sorry that this photo is upside down (it's hard to find competent help).  I am left pawed, are any of my stuffy friends left pawed as well?

My Sekrebearies are really working hard for their raise this year, when they saw me working on the holiday cards they brought me this nice mug of hot chocolate with whipped cream.  Not a bad treat, it would be better with a peppermint stick like Jerry and Ben suggest but this is a good step in the right direction.  I wonder if they got the hot chocolate mix from Starbucks, now that would be a wonderful treat!

Hmm, wait a minute, this isn't Starbucks mix.  This is diet Hot Chocolate, DIET?  Seriously, DIET hot chocolate?   Are they telling me I need to be on a DIET?  They tell me it was an honest mistake and me being such a nice fox I am inclined to forgive them, just this once........

Seattle; days two and three

What a great way to start off the morning, my roommates took me to Starbucks!  I went for a hot breakfast sandwich and some coffee.

After Starbucks we did a downtown Seattle walking tour.  The book from the library is from ancient times (1999) but the walk was still interesting and I learned a lot about downtown Seattle.

We went into a real fancy hotel, the Fairmont Seattle.  They have lots of Fairmonts in Canada.  The Fairmont Lake Louise, Banff (that's the one that looks like a castle) and the Fairmont Jasper.  We don't stay in the Fairmonts but I like to visit them.  The Fairmont Olympic is beary nice.  They were setting up for a wedding while we were there.  My roommates looked at the prices for lunch and it was beary expensive.
Here I am exploring the outside of the Fairmont,  Beary interesting.

After the tour I got to ride the monorail.  Monorail to the Seattle Center.  Home of the 1962 World's Fair.  My roommate went to Expo 86 in Vancouver BC, it was beary cool.  I hope they have a World's Fair in San Francisco or Denver  maybe all of us Stuffies could meet there?

While at the Seattle Center we ate lunch.  Fish and Chips were on the menu for us.  Beary good.  Next stop was the Experience Music Project Museum.  We saw all sorts of guitars and instruments.  They had a special exhibit on Fantasy Characters as well.

Hmm, this animal looks like a fox.  Wait, trickster?  That doesn't seem like me, oh wait it must be me.  Everyone knows Foxes bring gifts when visiting friends.

Of course no trip would be complete without a visit to the Space Needle.  It's beary expensive to travel up to the top so we declined.  It was hard to get a picture of the needle and me, but I think we did it.

Back to the hotel because it was starting to rain (it is Seattle in the fall you know).  The hotel had a rooftop deck.  My roommates and I explored it and if you look beary closely you can see the Space Needle from the hotel.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ahhh, another day.  Mmmm Starbucks again for breakfast, I am so lucky.  Today we explored the international district.  I love looking in the shops and learning about the food from other cultures.  We had Dim Sum for lunch, beary good.  I am still learning to use chop sticks but I hope to master them soon.

Our final activity was to visit the remodeled Amtrak station.  Argg, my roommates fingers are in the end of the video.  Good help is beary hard to find now-a-days.

Anyway, in the 1960s they covered all the fancy decorations with drop ceilings.  Then in the 2000s or so they remodeled the station, got rid of the drop ceilings and it's beary pretty.  There was an Amtrak train leaving for Spokane, West Glacier, Havre, and Minneapolis/St. Paul.  I was beary excited, hoping my roommates were going to take me on a surprise trip to see Jerry and Ben (traveling by train seems to be an appropriate way to visit Jerry and Ben since they like trains so much).  Apparently, that was not the case, maybe next time.

Leaving on a jet plane....don't know when I will be back again.

“Little Fox, wake up and get your bag ready.”  My roommates loudly said.  I didn’t really know what was happening (my roommates can be vague and mysterious).  I grabbed my knapsack and passport and we headed straight to the airport.

My roommates had to check in with the gate agent.  There was a long line so I decided to try and figure out where we were traveling to.
Am I going to Canada to visit Sandy?
Am I visiting Beanie in London?
Guadalajara for some authentic Mexican food?

Calgary for the stampede?  Maybe Burbank, CA to be in a movie?
Could I be going to Minneapolis/ST. Paul to visit Jerry and Ben?

My roommates didn't give me any hints at all.  All they did was tell me that the plane we are going to take is smaller than this jet in the background and then they left me to get some coffee at Starbucks.

Mysterious Visitor

I woke up early today to see the fresh snow from last night.  My serene snow scene included tracks...I wonder if one of my friends is going to visit today?
Then I heard a knock on the door.  Who could it be?  It was my friend "Little Bear".  I showed him the blogs of my friends and he seems to think there is a resemblance between him,  Jerry, Ben and Sandy....after further inspection I think I see it too. Either way I brewed up some hot chocolate so he could warm up even though he is dressed for the weather today.

We chatted for a while and then it started to snow again.  Use West Coast animals don't really do snow very well, but my roommates walked to to the store to pick up some more hot chocolate and marshmallows for Little Bear and I .
