They decided to take me to Coyote Wall. To start the hike one must hike on an old road for a 1/2 mile or so. The road is near the Columbia River so it’s a pretty scenic road.
The weather was great and some of the early wildflowers were
out. This one is of a desert
parsley.
Here I am hanging out with the grass widows.

Mt. Hood was out for the day. You can see if clearly in this picture.
I prefer this picture instead (I wonder why???)
We had to cross a stream with a beary small
waterfall. It was about my size which
made a good picture for me. Hmm, a
little waterfall I bet Spunky would look good next to it too.
Toward the top of the hike you can enter an old forest. My roommate thinks these are oak trees but we don’t really know.
Hope your weekend adventures were fun.
A fun hike in the sun?!? Wildflowers blooming? Beautiful blue sky? A picnic lunch with Sequoia? Grumble, grumble...we're supposed to get a blizzard tonight, grumble, grumble...Jerry has his garden tools out...when will spring come?
ReplyDeletePatience Jerry, patience....
DeleteIt is beary hard for a little bear to have patience...
DeleteThat looks like a pretty hike you went on. I like your scarf too. Glad to see some flowers blooming after all the snow in US. That mountain is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThanks, actually we didn't get too much snow where we live (that's ok with me).
ReplyDeleteWould you like us to send you a big box of it?
DeleteDo you have enough to spare?
DeleteOh gosh yes, we have PLENTY. Overnight wind chills: -15
DeleteThat looks so fun! I'm jealous! Person was not feeling well so I didn't get any adventures recently!
ReplyDeleteThere has been a nasty flu going around, I hope Person feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteOhhh... that looks beautiful!! We've been having lots of showers lately and I think I'm getting cabin fever again. Mama got a new pair of hiking shoes sooo... that bodes well for the future!
