I thought I would share an update on my garden. Remember those packets of wild flower seeds I planted a while back; let’s see how they are doing. Five planters of wild flower seeds and these are the only blooms I have…..that doesn’t seem right. I wonder what I am doing wrong???? Jerry....any suggestions?
Let’s continue and take a look at the sweet onions. They are coming along much better than the
wild flower seeds. One roommate likes
to cut off the stalks and use those in cooking for a light oniony flavor.
A trip to the jungle?
No, just examining my tomato plants.
It seems that they are growing well….if I carefully look through the
branches I can even see some tomatoes. My
roommates tell me to be patient a few more months and the tomatoes should be
ready to harvest.
Oooh, your tomato plants seem to be coming along very nicely. I know the squirrels and chipmunks do love to nibble on them. Perhaps you should stand watch.
ReplyDeleteThat is a good idea. Of course the tomatoes need thinning maybe the squirrels will do that for me.
DeleteGreat update on the garden Little Fox! Your tomatoes are doing amazing! We haven't gotten any this year - we've heard that there is a serious tomato blight problem here... do you have that? I have to post pictures of my garden update...
ReplyDeleteWe had blight a couple of years ago on a cherry tree. It was beary sad to dig up the bad tree. On the positive side we got a Japanese Maple to replace the cherry tree.
DeleteYour garden looks great! Ours is coming right along. We've had warm temps and lots of rain, so the flowers, herbs and a few veggies are beary happy!
ReplyDeleteOur garden is coming along nicely except for the carrots which are growing too slowly for Elsie's liking. I thought we should grow chocolate in the garden but person said we can't do that. I don't understand why. Chocolate is my favorite food. Which food do you like best Little Fox?
ReplyDeleteDo foxes wear gloves when they are planting or taking care of fox glove flowers? Inquiring bears would like to know...
ReplyDeleteThat is a great question! Zebras want to know too!
DeleteI have to be beary careful around foxglove since it's kind of poisonous. I wear gloves made for a fox (i.e. foxgloves) when I garden.
DeleteThanks for Sharing your Garden Pics Little Fox. Our Gardens here in Florida are done for the Season. We Live in *Opposite World* down in the Sub-Tropics. Summer is our *Winter* for plants and then we Start to Plant again in October and November for January Harvests.... odd, eh?
