Ahhhh finally made it to the garden bed. This raised bed is beary big. So much space to plant.
Now, let me see where I want to plant my seeds. Arugula, lettuce my favorite. I hope the rabbits Sandy saw today don't come down to eat the lettuce. Onions and Cilantro....yipee maybe we can make some Mexican food when they come in.
Good for you! Although I must say... it looks like you were on safari as you forged through that tall grass (it's the same here). Our peas and spinach are already coming up - so exciting!
ReplyDeleteI felt like I was on safari (I wish my roommates would take me on a real African Safari). I should have brought my flag and staked the garden out for Stuffies.
DeleteGardening is hard work! Jerry plants many more flowers than vegetables, and Ben plants herbs that he uses to cook. You and Sandy are the big vegetable gardeners....we're seeing your own show on the Stuffie TV Network!
ReplyDeleteOh we have some flowers as well... I will have to get some pictures...
DeleteOh we know you have flowers Sandy, but all your vegetable beds are amazging! Little Foxes raised beds look amazing too! We can't wait to see your vegies growing.
DeleteWe will need to contact Jerry when we do phase two of our garden, that is the flower beds. I am partial to wildflowers but I am always interested in telling my roommates about colorful perenial flowering plants that they could plant. Any suggestions. Ben, we plant chives, basil, and rosemary, do you plant those herbs too?
ReplyDeleteWell... we are having to learn what are "deer-proof" flowers, which is quite a task! Apparently they don't like daffodils or snowdrops... But we need more than that! I'd be interested to see Ben's ideas for perennials...
