Welcome to the first (and probably only) episode of Little Fox's Canine Kitchen. As my regular readers know Sequoia's anniversary is coming up soon and I have decided to make a special treat for him. As you can see I have all of the ingredients laid out.
Once any movement in the kitchen is suspected Sequoia comes out of hiding. Today, he has told me that he must supervise the dog treat creation. Seems like someone is trying to get in on my supervision business. After mixing the dough I got to express my creativity with cookie cutters to make bone shape cookies. I think I have a future in baking. Now I just need to place them in the oven for about 20 minutes.
Epilogue: Sequoia did enjoy the cookies, does he love them and would he rate them 5 stars, well that is to be determined. Happy Anniversary Sequoia!
I see peanut butter...yum. But are there any bacon-flavored treats?
ReplyDeleteBacon flavored treats? That's a good idea, maybe I will bring them out at Christmas time?????
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job Little Fox!
ReplyDeleteI see a spot for you on the Stuffie network. Given the number of dogs in the world, there seems to be an unexploited niche-market - Baking for Dogs!
ReplyDeleteWhom should I send my audition tape to? You? Jerry, Ben?
DeleteSequoia's nose knows! The treats look good. Maybe you can add some honey?
ReplyDeleteGood idea. Between your idea of adding honey and Droopy's idea of adding bacon, I should go back to the kitchen and make another set of treats before I forget these good ideas.
Deletewhy not add in some salmon while you're at it...
