Stuffies on Strike Part 2

Hello Blog World.  The stuffies are still on strike against the humans (management) and the strike team wanted to update everyone.

Management put a measly offer on the table.  5 unfrosted cookies....really?

Sigh, nothing has progressed in negotiations but we are happy to say that more stuffies have joined our cause. More stuffies striking on the line is always a good thing.

In fact, one of our spies (I can't tell you who) heard that management is ready to make an offer.

.We reject this offer.  Our spy has mentioned management is about ready to crack.  Oh, wait, another offer on the table.
Three trays of homemade cookies all for us stuffies?  Yes, this will do.   We will be happy to move off the couch and relocate temporarily.

Prepping the house for LF's return.

Well, it's official.  Little Fox sent me a text (yes, he texts) and he is on his way back home. I am so excited that my friend is coming back.  The humans said that I better vacuum the carpet for Little Fox's arrival.  I don't know, this seems like a trick from the humans to get me to vacuum.
I have started to learn how to supervise better. See, I have decided to tell the humans they need to do chores like vacuuming and I will point out things to vacuum.  Aren't I helpful?
Humans, clean this up.
I know what Little Fox would really like when he gets back.  That's right, fresh chocolate chip cookies.  I have all the ingredients: flour, chippos, butter, sugar and vanilla extract.
These cookies ought to cook up well.
Ah, fresh cookies out of the oven.  It would be perfect if LF came home right now.  You know, fresh cookies, that freshly baked cookie smell, and a clean house.
Now, I just need to supervise my humans to clean these dishes.
Little Fox, were ready for you to come back.

Handy Sandy

Hello Blog Pals ~ Little Fox here updating you on our newest activity with my special guest, Sandy.  Droopy asked about an episode of "Handy Sandy" recently on Sandy's blog and it got me thinking.  You know, I have some unfinished projects around the house that maybe Sandy could help me with.

The first project around the house is fixing the screen door.  The screen fell off recently and hasn't been fixed yet.
Sandy: Yup, Little Fox you are missing a screen here.
Little Fox: Umm, thanks. Sandy but I kind of knew that already.
Sandy: Let me get a better look at the old screen and see if it's salvageable.  OK, it looks like I will need to replace the wheels, is there a Home Depot nearby?

Little Fox: Are you sure it's just the wheels?
Sandy: Little Fox, come over here.  You see from this angle you can tell for sure that it's the wheels that need to be replaced.
Little Fox: Ah, yes from this angle it is the wheels.
The next project Handy Sandy worked on was the leaning bookcase in the garage.
Sandy: My goodness, this bookcase is leaning toward the car.  I can help you fix that.  Little Fox, it seems that this case has lots of beer stacked on it, if we drank some of the beer then it would probably lean a lot less.  Thoughts?

Sandy: Let me come up here to your level.  Little Fox, trust me, I am a very handy bear and to fix this bookcase we need to drink that beer.
Little Fox: Hmm, this is an interesting twist, perhaps Sandy has been spending time with Drunk Fox?
Little Fox: To get Sandy off his beer rant I thought it best that I make a light lunch for us. Let's see, what do we have?
Sandy: I like your plate Little Fox.
Little Fox: **Rumble, Rumble, Rumble** Ah yes, I found some food that Handy Sandy and  I can enjoy.  Brownies, chocolate chip cookies, and waffles.  I hope this is enough food for our lunch?
Little Fox: Sorry for all the empty calories Sandy.  I can get some carrot sticks and red pepper strips if you prefer?
Sandy: Mmmmmm, this lunch is perfect!

A cooking lesson with Sequoia

Hello Blog Pals,
I was put in charge of Spring cleaning today and I was in charge of cleaning the kitchen.  I found an old jar of cookie mix way in the back and secretly called Sequoia over to guard the kitchen while I examined it more closely.
He seems like a pretty competent guard dog.
The jar looked in good so we decided to make the cookies.  As you can see the dough mixed well in the bowl.  In fact there isn't much dough left.

A little parchment paper and some handiwork with a couple of teaspoons made it easy to prepare my cookies.  Perhaps I can get gig on Cooking with Ben.
I decided to take a break from the cookies to make a snack.  Chicken-a-la-Little Fox.
As I took my break my roommates found the cookies and put them in a plastic bag.  Opening the bag was harder than I thought so I decided ask my friend Reindeer to help me out.
Once we figure out this puzzle the cookies will be ours!!!!!

Little Fox's Canine Kitchen

Welcome to the first (and probably only) episode of Little Fox's Canine Kitchen.  As my regular readers know Sequoia's anniversary is coming up  soon and I have decided to make a special treat for him.  As you can see I have all of the ingredients laid out.
Once any movement in the kitchen is suspected Sequoia comes out of hiding.  Today, he has told me that he must supervise the dog treat creation.  Seems like someone is trying to get in on my supervision business.
After mixing the dough I got to express my creativity with cookie cutters to make bone shape cookies.  I think I have a future in baking.  Now I just need to place them in the oven for about 20 minutes.
Epilogue: Sequoia did enjoy the cookies, does he love them and would he rate them 5 stars, well that is to be determined.  Happy Anniversary Sequoia!

Long Awaited Adventure.

Ahh, it’s Saturday and I am off on an adventure.  We didn't do any adventuring last weekend and I have been laying on a guilt trip to a certain set of roommates letting them know they owe me an adventure or two.

Looks like my guilt trip worked and we are off on an adventure today.  That large hill ahead is Mt. Hood, Oregon’s tallest peak.  I wonder if we are climbing it today?

Hmm, this is odd.  I wonder if I fell asleep and my roommates took me on a plane, flew me to England and I woke up somewhere near the Sherwood Forest?
Robin Hood Campground?  Am I reading this right?  Now I am thoroughly confused.  My roommates explained that we were hiking up to a waterfall in the Mt. Hood National Forest, not merry old England.  Right now I am not sure who to believe, all I know for sure if that someone in the campground naming division of the forest service might have been a Robin Hood fan.\

The Fall colors are starting to show through.  After Summer and Spring Fall is my favorite season.

This bridge looks beary well built and it should be as the trail to Tamanawas falls is a very popular hike for families.

Speaking of Tamanwas Falls here I am.  Stuffies around the world don’t worry I have claimed this land for us.  Upon further discussion with my roommates they informed me that we (stuffies) might have to share the falls with the proper owners of the land, the Forest Service.  That’s OK, I hear Smokey the Bear is in charge of the firefighting brigade for the Forest Service and he seems like a cool bear.

After the letdown of not conquering the land using Ajdin’s flag my roommates decided to take me to a farm stand.  Pears and Apples were in season.  We bought some bright red pears and this farm stand also has a bakery and they sample all of the cookies for sale.  I had about 10 different samples of cookies and ended up getting a white chocolate lemon cookie.  Jerry and Ben would love this place.

***Note*** My roommates were too busy picking out pears and sampling cookies to take pictures.  Hmph.
