Covert Operations

Big Bear and I were relaxing at the house deciding when we should do our annual performance review on our roommates to determine if they get any raises this year.

After we decided if they earned their raise or not I decided to do some reading.  I have been reading this book a lot lately so I decided to see what else is on the bookshelf.
This fox looks a little rabid if you ask me.

I had to practice my climbing skills to get to the top of this bookcase to find a good book.

So many good choices.
Hmm, this is an interesting title, I wonder what is happening to my peaceful life?

  1. Hmmmm... well... two things come to mind. (A) Your roommates are getting you a pet stuffie dog - hooray!! or (B) Your roommates are considering getting a real pet dog. If it's B, you might want to re-visit your performance evaluation of them!!

    1. I think it's the latter but nothing has been officially announced. The the other stuffies and I have a secret meeting set up tonight. I have even invited the Christmas Stuffies out of hibernation for this meeting....

  2. Hmmm... Hope the meeting went well!! That Big Bear looks like an old bear - where's he been hiding out?

  3. He usually hangs out on the sofa or the airport (long story). He is a little bit older but with age comes responsibility, for example he gets to play Santa at Christmas.

By the way happy bearday, enjoy your trip to London. Err, your card might be late.

    1. Hanging out at the airport?? Doesn't he get to travel anywhere? Sounds like a bit of a mystery. Or maybe he is an undercover bear who acts all nonchalant but is really a bomb-sniffing bear??

Thanks for the bearthday wishes... we are meeting Beanie on my birthday on Sunday so that will be beary cool!

    2. He is a bit of a mystery. For the last couple of years he has been going to the airport because he is taking flying lessons. Apparently, he likes to take day trips and explore by flight versus me who likes to explore by car (exploring must be in the blood at our house).

    3. Hmm... he looks like he has a bandage on his hind leg... and to take flying lessons - wow!! Maybe he wants to join the Air Force?

  4. If your seKretaries are getting a pooch, let's hope that it's not a, ahem, fox hound..., that might be a bad thing, unless you can properly train him to give hugs to foxes.

    1. Good point!! Although... I seem to recall a movie called The Fox and the Hound which started well. Not sure it ended well??

    2. Yes, a fox hound would not be the best choice in the world for us. Of course, if I could train it to give me hugs and treats that would be ok. I will have to do some more research.

The Canadian visitors have arrived in our neighborhood.
