Long Awaited Adventure.

Ahh, it’s Saturday and I am off on an adventure.  We didn't do any adventuring last weekend and I have been laying on a guilt trip to a certain set of roommates letting them know they owe me an adventure or two.

Looks like my guilt trip worked and we are off on an adventure today.  That large hill ahead is Mt. Hood, Oregon’s tallest peak.  I wonder if we are climbing it today?

Hmm, this is odd.  I wonder if I fell asleep and my roommates took me on a plane, flew me to England and I woke up somewhere near the Sherwood Forest?
Robin Hood Campground?  Am I reading this right?  Now I am thoroughly confused.  My roommates explained that we were hiking up to a waterfall in the Mt. Hood National Forest, not merry old England.  Right now I am not sure who to believe, all I know for sure if that someone in the campground naming division of the forest service might have been a Robin Hood fan.\

The Fall colors are starting to show through.  After Summer and Spring Fall is my favorite season.

This bridge looks beary well built and it should be as the trail to Tamanawas falls is a very popular hike for families.

Speaking of Tamanwas Falls here I am.  Stuffies around the world don’t worry I have claimed this land for us.  Upon further discussion with my roommates they informed me that we (stuffies) might have to share the falls with the proper owners of the land, the Forest Service.  That’s OK, I hear Smokey the Bear is in charge of the firefighting brigade for the Forest Service and he seems like a cool bear

After the letdown of not conquering the land using Ajdin’s flag my roommates decided to take me to a farm stand.  Pears and Apples were in season.  We bought some bright red pears and this farm stand also has a bakery and they sample all of the cookies for sale.  I had about 10 different samples of cookies and ended up getting a white chocolate lemon cookie.  Jerry and Ben would love this place.

***Note*** My roommates were too busy picking out pears and sampling cookies to take pictures.  Hmph.

  2. Smokey is a good guy to have on our side. From my quick wikipedia search looks like Smokey operates in Canada too.

    2. AND two trains?? What a lucky fox. We love trains. We'd like to take the Orient Express, but we'd have to win the lottery in order to do that, it's beary expensive.
